New Mexico Pharmaceutical Malpractice Attorneys

Helping pharmaceutical victims get the compensation that they deserve

We rely on drugs to heal us. With proper use, they usually do. However, an incorrect prescription or faulty drug has the potential to be deadly.

Our attorneys are experienced in managing these complex cases. If you or a loved one has experienced harmful side effects as a result of a prescription that was filled incorrectly, contact the Branch Law Firm® for a free consultation with a knowledgeable pharmaceutical malpractice lawyer.

Recalled Drugs

Avandia

Avandia may be prescribed for the treatment of diabetes. If you have taken Avandia and suffered heart related injuries, please fill out our Avandia intake form or contact us by phone.

Vioxx

Vioxx is used for the treatment of osteoarthritis. Vioxx relieves pain by inhibiting an enzyme that causes pain and inflammation, while leaving undisturbed the enzyme that protects the stomach's lining. Studies have shown that patients taking Vioxx are four times more likely to have a heart attack, stroke, or paralysis due to blood clots caused by the drug. Vioxx also causes a disorder called Eosinophilia Myalgia Syndrome (EMS).
The FDA eventually removed Vioxx because it caused primary pulmonary hypertension (pph) in some patients.

We currently offer a free Vioxx case evaluation for people who have been injured by Vioxx. If you or someone you love has taken Vioxx and had a heart attack or stroke, contact the Branch Law Firm®.

Baycol

We are proud that we are working with numerous well-respected law firms in preparing our Baycol cases for trial. Baycol was originally designed for the reduction of cholesterol in high risk patients. However, studies have indicated that Baycol users incur an elevated risk of a number of physical conditions, including, among others, rhabdomylosis, a potentially fatal muscle wasting disease.

Bextra

Bextra works by reducing substances in the body that cause inflammation, pain, and fever.

Bextra is also known to induce life threatening skin and hypersensitivity reactions, conditions that appear in the form of inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth, throat, genitals, intestinal tract, and membrane lining the eyelids. This skin disorder is called Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and can lead to lesions and blisters causing intense pain and even death from infections.

If you or a loved has taken Bextra, suffered a heart attack, a stroke, other heart problems or deadly skin reaction and would like additional information regarding Bextra, please do not hesitate to contact the BranchLaw Firm®.
