Amanda M. Romero, born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is a 2000 graduate of Santa Fe High School, Santa Fe, New Mexico. After graduating in the top 5% of her high school class and receiving the Demonette of the Year award for best all-around female athlete, she went on to earn a B.A. in Science with a focus on Criminal Justice and Psychology from New Mexico State University in 2004. In addition to graduating with honors from NMSU, Ms. Romero received honors in the Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities every year.

In 2007, Ms. Romero graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law where she received the Clinical Honors Award for providing excellent representation to clients during her clinical practice course. Only one member of each clinical section is granted this honor and award. Ms. Romero also received extensive training in Mediation, which is an essential part of representing clients. Ms. Romero was also a member of the Lambda Law Student Association.

At the Branch Law Firm, Ms. Romero practices in the fields of mass torts, pharmaceutical litigation, medical negligence, vehicular accidents, and nursing home abuse cases. She actively engages in trial and mediation preparation, as well as all phases of discovery.
