Sibyl Ehresmann grew up in Geneva, Illinois and came of age in New York, New York. She graduated summa cum laude from Hunter College for the City University of New York in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, having double-majored in art history and comparative religion. As an undergraduate, she spent a year abroad as a foreign-exchange student in Japan, an experience that prompted her pursuit of graduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles in field of East Asian languages and cultures. She then attended the University Of New Mexico School Of Law, where she was the managing editor of the New Mexico Law Review in 2001-2002.
Ms. Ehresmann has worked as a law clerk for the New Mexico Court of Appeals, as an associate attorney for the Albuquerque firms of Kennedy & Han, PC and Silva & Saucedo, PC and as a prosecutor for the First and Thirteenth Judicial District Attorneys’ Offices. She is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico and resides in Albuquerque’s North Valley. At the Branch Law Firm, she practices in the areas of Medical Malpractice, Wrongful Death, and Pharmaceutical Malpractice.
