Mark D. TrujilloAssociate
From 1996-1998, Mr. Trujillo worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Seventh Judicial District, the largest district in the State of New Mexico. As an Assistant District Attorney, he served as lead, or co-counsel, for both felony and misdemeanor jury trials, supervised a junior attorney, investigator and administrative staff.
In 1998, Mr. Trujillo received his commission as a JAG officer in the United States Air Force. While serving in the Air Force, Mr. Trujillo served as a judge advocate attorney representing the U.S. government and providing advice and counsel to supervisors and commanders on a wide spectrum of legal issues encompassing employment, contracts, Federal tort claims, criminal justice and legal assistance to an eligible population of active duty, retired personnel and dependents. Mr. Trujillo served seven years in the Air Force and was selected to the rank of Major and was honorably discharged in 2005.
Before joining the Branch Law Firm, Mr. Trujillo worked for and directed all aspects of litigation for various insurance defense firms that included in-house trial counsel for a large national insurance company. For more than eight years he was intricately involved in the litigation of complex personal injury claims that encompassed mediations, binding arbitrations and jury trials.
Mr. Trujillo joined the Branch Law Firm in 2013. Mr. Trujillo practices in the fields of pharmaceutical litigation, personal injury, premises liability, and medical malpractice.
